A Coastal Adventure to Remember
Adventures in the Sunshine State.
Florida turned out to be one of those trips that sticks with you long after it’s over. From the moment I arrived, everything felt lighter, the air, the pace, and just being near the water. One of my favorite parts was biking along the coast with a friend, cruising past the beach with the ocean right beside us. It was simple, but one of the most peaceful and fun moments of the trip.
Swimming with manatees in Crystal River was something I won’t forget. Being in the water with them felt surreal, they’re huge but incredibly gentle, and just floating nearby felt like stepping into a different world. It’s one of those experiences you really have to see for yourself.

I also spent some time exploring the University of Tampa campus. It was a nice change of pace from the outdoor adventures, and the architecture and atmosphere made it worth the visit.
Another highlight was horseback riding, which gave a different perspective of Florida’s landscape. It slowed everything down in a good way. I also caught glimpses of dolphins, which was exciting even without getting a perfect photo.
Overall, the trip was a mix of adventure, relaxation, and just enjoying the moment. Whether biking by the beach, swimming with manatees, or taking everything in, it’s definitely a place I’d go back to.
